Walking towards her classes she saw him walking ahead with that unmistakable look that says he's on a world of his own.
"Hello!" she said approaching from behind him.
Knowing the voice he turned with a happy expression already. "Woah, unbelievable! My muse returns! It goes without saying that I missed you terribly." he exclaimed excitedly, but his face soon turned thoughtful and he tilted his head to the side. "Hmm, I said it anyway, just to be sure." he finished with a smile and a wink.

"I've wasted too much time already. Unless I meet someone very interesting, two or three years older, and making serious money I'll waste no more." she said in a matter of fact tone.
"Well, you want to marry or something already?" he argued. "I could get on my knees right now if you'd like." he offered changing to a mocking tone.
"Don't be absurd. I'd pretend I don't know you and keep going." she answered promptly.
"Hmm, knowing you, that'd be about right." he wondered aloud. "But why in the nine hells would you want someone like that then?" he said resuming his arguing

They sat inside a cafe, on a small table by the wall. It had to be for some time already that they were chatting their late afternoon away. He took the first opportunity to settle in a comfortable silence and just gaze at her.
